Our Story- I Care Man

Founding

“I Care Man” was born out of both urgency and vision.

After more than a decade serving as a licensed paramedic, Lee Brown witnessed firsthand how patients often fell through the cracks of a fragmented healthcare system. He saw emergency departments overwhelmed with visits that could have been prevented, families struggling to access basic care, and communities left waiting when every minute mattered. The traditional divide between emergency medical services, public health, and long-term care left too many without timely, appropriate help.

Rather than accept these gaps as “just the way things are,” Lee recognized an opportunity to reimagine care delivery. Drawing on his background in EMS, public health, and administration, he envisioned a mobile integrated health model that could meet people where they are—at home, at work, or in the community.

In 2025, that vision became reality with the founding of Icareman (Iowa Care Management). Built on the belief that healthcare should be immediate, accessible, and compassionate, Icareman set out to bridge emergency response with preventive and community-based care. By combining certified point-of-care testing, urgent and chronic disease management, mental health crisis support, and first responder backup, Icareman offers a flexible system designed to save time, reduce costs, and most importantly—save lives.

What started as one provider with a mission is now growing into a multi-state initiative, supported by innovation, trusted partnerships, and a steadfast promise:
to deliver care to the world at a moment’s notice.
